FIFA 23: Abbreviations for Positions

There are a total of 17 positions in the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and they are all spread over the pitch. There is no advantage to knowing all of them, but they make it a lot easier when you’re arranging your players. Most people usually learn as they keep playing, but if you forget one or two, you can refer to this list for a detailed description.

ABBREVIATIONS FOR POSITIONS

GK	Goalkeeper
RB	Right Back / Right Defense
LB	Left Back / Left Defense
RWB	Right Wing-Backs
LWB	Left Wing-Backs
CB	Center-Back
CDM	Central Defensive Midfielder
CM	Center Midfielder
CAM	Central Attacking Midfielder
RM	Right Side-Midfielder
LM	Left Side-Midfielder
RW	Right Wingers
LW	Left Wingers
RF	Side Right-Forward
LF	Side Left-Forward
CF	Center Forward
ST	Strikers
